I was the 2nd Unit Director of Photography on Victor Crowley, the latest installment of director Adam Green’s popular “Hatchet” horror series.
In 2010, I was the gaffer on this awesomely creepy, slow-burn horror film, directed by Eduardo Sanchez (The Blair Witch Project, Exists), and photographed by talented DP John Rutland. Shooting took place in an old, and presumably haunted, farmhouse in Maryland.
This is a development teaser for a film called Take-Out Girl, which I shot and edited earlier this year. I was inspired by the makers of Tangerine to shoot this teaser on the iPhone. I would probably never use a phone to shoot a feature film, but I was impressed by how well it performed. It was possible to shoot quickly and discreetly on location and allowed the actors a lot of freedom during takes.
We’re using this short sizzle to develop a series featuring young rock drummer phenom, Alexey.
